75 Ohm Coax

75 Ohm Coax for Amateur Radio

Which of the following do you think is a more accurate statement about using inexpensive 75 ohm "TV" coax for amateur radio purposes?
  1. 1. You can get by with it sometimes, but it's, at best, only a compromise.
  2. 2. It can work well enough for many common antenna setups, though not quite as well as what we'd normally use.
  3. 3. Sometimes, cost aside, it can actually be a superior choice.
