Requires a crimp tool. Good connection when done properly. Widely available.
Screw-on (twist-on)
No special tools needed — just strip and twist on. Convenient but least reliable long-term.
Push-on
Quick-connect, no threading. Handy for temporary setups. Not recommended for permanent installations.
F connectors are rated to several GHz in the CATV industry.
They are a proper 75Ω connector — arguably better engineered than the PL-259.
